TODD JERSEY
Over more than thirty years and 300 projects, Todd Jersey’s commitment to his craft and passion for sustainability has merged with a keen focus on high performance building expertise, resulting in elegantly designed projects that serve people and the planet.
Todd approaches each project by understanding the project objectives and developing a scope that maximizes achieving them. He then puts pencil to paper. His design of the built environment is informed by the modulation of natural light and is initially conceived using non-digital forms of expression. These drawings and models are then translated into REVIT drawings by the design studio team for practical use in the architecture permitting and construction process.
Todd’s early passion for design and building manifested in his apprenticeship with a master carpenter from ages 16 to 21. His architecture studies then took him to Italy and the Netherlands where he studied architecture in all its classical forms. Post-masters studies at Harvard University with Professor Arthur Loeb, co-authoring Design Science with Buckminster Fuller, and permaculture studies with Penny Livingston as well as multiple forays into ecological restoration projects inform his deep sustainability roots. An accomplished artist, he brings his intrinsic and studied eye for beauty and form and the harnessing of natural light to every project.
Today, whether its a home transformation or a multi-family project, the result is elegant, high performing projects designed for a changing world.
