Todd Jersey

AIA, Principal

As a budding architect and ecological designer, Todd began designing and building at ten years of age. He first experimented with solar hot water in 1970 at the age of twelve. Remaining curious, innovative and protective of the earth, Todd has spent the last 30 years designing and building some of California's most beautiful, sustainable and cost-efficient projects - from the many residential projects to the world's first LEED Gold hotel and the nation's greenest and healthiest indoor pool, the historic Richmond Plunge.

Always designing on the cutting edge, Todd has created a collaborative housing commercial/residential mixed-use prototype, honed his expertise in urban mobility and parking issues to decrease the impact of the automobile on urban infill sites, and continues to further his expert knowledge of Building Science to advance the ecological and construction integrity of the many projects at TJA.

Todd currently serves as a board member for the California AIA as well as the East Bay AIA, as well as on the Zoning Adjustments Board for the City of Berkeley. He also partners with various entities to advance progress in meeting transportation and housing needs, including serving as head of planning and architecture for CyberTran International Inc. and its new ultra-light rail transit (ULRT) system called CyberTran® and as the architecture and Building Science consultant for Shibusa Systems, a new venture, high-performance-housing delivery platform to increase housing supply.
