This fully entitled project is situated in South Sacramento near the Laguna Creek open space. The four-acre site was developed to provide reasonably priced rental housing for the “missing middle” in a market short on supply. Designed to LEED Gold standard with an upscale contemporary look, the 125-unit project was designed to be both cost-effective and elegant. Careful attention to details include expansive shade canopies over parking areas when trees mature, generous bike parking, secure refuse bin areas inside buildings, and an irrigation system designed for extreme water efficiency, including rain sensors that override watering cycles during rain events and runoff retained in a network of biobasins.
