Impact Hub Oakland is equal parts inspiring Coworking space, event venue, entrepreneurial incubator and a membership-based community of socially engaged people, co-working and co-learning (Impact Hub website). The project entailed increasing office square footage and density, adding a mail room and open kitchen for cooking demonstrations, a member services office, secure bike parking and private phone call booths.
