We designed and constructed a second level while fully remodeling this 1930’s Berkeley bungalow into a three bedroom, 2-1/2 bath home. Applying a contemporary bungalow aesthetic, original features and modern updates create a warm and inviting living space. The design features walnut and madrone wood kitchen cabinets, a large front deck and both solar hot water and solar radiant heat as well as a 4KW solar electrical system. A backyard office was designed and built and later remodeled into a studio ADU.
